U8 - U12 Miniroos

Mixed teams and girls only teams are available in the Miniroos competition, travelling locally for away
games. Build skills and confidence on a smaller pitch with modified rules, as children learn the game
in a 7v7 or 9v9 format.

Training is once a week with games on Saturday mornings. Training night is
determined by volunteer coaches and training duration is usually similar to game time, eg U6-U9 -
45mins, U10 - U12 - 60mins.

Mixed teams are categorised into four playing levels for Miniroos: Kangaroo 1, Kangaroo 2, Wallaby
and Quokka. Girls teams have two levels: Girls Bilby and Joeys.

The Club will grade registered players into teams to play with and against players of a similar ability
